After a rigorous judging process and votes from consumers, all of whom being category buyers, Multix® Greener™ Plant Based Cling Wrap has won Product of the Year title in the Sustainable Household Products category, based on a NielsenIQ survey of 5,000 Australian consumers.
A Product of the Year awards night was held on Thursday 10 November to present over 30 awards across many categories and our very own Senior Brand Manager for Multix, Kamila Staines was in attendance to accept the award on behalf of Multix.
We asked Kamila how she felt about the win, “at Multix, our ambition is to be Australia’s most loved, innovative household brand that cares about people & the earth – leading in functionality, creativity & sustainability. I was so honoured to accept this award on behalf of the brand. It is a true testament to the fact that we are closer to our ambition and continue to be a leader in innovation”.
The winning product Multix® Greener™ Plant Based Cling Wrap went through a meticulous process where a panel of judges, comprising of various industry experts, first tested the products for quality, credibility, and innovation and were then reviewed and voted on by 5,000 Australians. The NielseniQ research that determines the winners involves evaluating these consumer responses by using their six key innovation criteria which includes, relevance, uniqueness, excitement, likeability, distinctiveness, and innovation.
Multix® Greener™ Plant Based Cling Wrap reduces the impact on the environment because it is made with 50% plant-based material from sugarcane, a natural, renewable resource. Sugarcane naturally absorbs a lot of CO2 and produces oxygen while growing.
